About

Ivone Cruz, event producer.

It started in 2005, when I founded the River Party, a small music festival, at 23 with a bunch of crazy friends. We ran it for seven editions. Along the way I studied in England and France, including an Erasmus exchange, and worked in vocational training and certification for young people and adults. In 2014, as a project manager at Fundação AMA Autismo, I coordinated for the management team of Festival Vilar de Mouros. In 2016 I founded LINK Cowork & Business in Viana do Castelo, where I organize community events for 5 to 100 people. That leadership was recognized with an invitation from the U.S. Embassy in Portugal to join the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) for Young Leaders.

In 2025 I produced EuRuKo, and I am now Lead Production Director of Rails World 2027. My background is in social sciences, with a specialization in Human Resources and Training from the University of Minho.
